Rossi's is centrally situated in Hermanus in a converted fisherman's cottage. These were built in 1924 and are now National Monuments. Rossi's has an open plan kitchen where you can see the enthusiastic chefs prepare all the dishes. These are cooked in traditional wood burning pizza ovens.

Rossi's is a reasonably priced, family restaurant whose specialities include, pizza, pasta, fresh seafood and steaks. If you haven't eaten at Rossi's you are missing out. Not only is the food excellent but the staff are jovial and the atmosphere light and cheerful. You do not need to make a reservation but as they are very popular it is a good idea. They are open for dinner 7 days a week from 6.30pm till late and open for lunch in season time.

Nothing like a good dose of garlic after a hard day's work. Ask any Italian, or some of the locals you'll find again and again in this relaxed atmosphere. Not only do lovely thin-based pizzas (jip, that's how they do them!) emerge from this oven, but also pasta, vegetables, fish and chicken. The aromas linger between the walls, the buzz goes beyond. Takeaways available. Good selection of very affordable wines.
