Your hosts Heather and Dan are clearly a potent combination of the arty and practical, a jeweller and a builder by trade - their cottage reflects an exacting eye for creative yet functional detail. Inkaroo is beautifully executed in a style that combines both traditional and modern influences. Pigmented concrete floors, soft cretestone walls, old timber doors, reed ceilings, simple country furniture transformed by limewash and offset with modern cement-moulded benches, are among the natural elements used to this end. Prize for 'piece de resistance' in the cottage must go to Dan's moulded bath - a giant tub, shaped for two (maybe even three) romantic weekenders. Add a bottle of wine and heaps of candles ....
Sleeps ...... normally 4, there is one bedroom with double bed and walk in wardrobe and a pair of single beds on the mezzanine. The cottage is fully equipped; linen, towels, etc and breakfast hampers are available on request.
